National Lead Laboratory Accreditation Programme (NLLAP)
The National Lead Laboratory Accreditation Programme (NLLAP) was established by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to allow laboratories to be recognised for their proficiency in testing of lead in paint chips, dust, or soil.
Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, Inc. (PJLA) has been awarded recognition by the EPA as a recognised accreditation body for the National Lead Laboratory Accreditation Programme (NLLAP). PJLA is now one of only three accrediting bodies recognised to award this accreditation. Since PJLA is a globally recognised accrediting body via the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) to ISO 17011, PJLA can also award the coveted ISO 17025 accreditation at the same assessment.
